New music menu now live 01/27/2010
A few days ago, we posted news regarding our decision to move the Music menu on your Streaming Internet Radio toolbar to the main Menu section - this move is designed to free space on the toolbar for future development. The changes are almost complete. We have a small amount of testing to carry out, then the Music menu will be removed. This is expected to take a couple of days. If you are a Conduit Marketplace user of our Music menu, you are urged to update your toolbar to our Main menu, or the free great tracks that you listen to will be lost. To add our main menu to your toolbar, please carry out a search via your toolbar (on the marketplace) for: The ultimate toolbar menu! Alternatively, you can add the menu via our gadgets page. What's available on the main menu? The Music menu on the Streaming Internet Radio toolbar is being moved to the main Menu - this is to free up space on your toolbar to allow for future development. Yesterday, Mozilla released FireFox 3.6: (http://blog.mozilla.com/sumo/2010/01/20/firefox-3-6-releases-thursday-21-jan-2010/) Please note that the toolbar version which supports FireFox 3.6 is 2.5.4.7 and above. Older toolbar versions will be updated in the next few days to support the new Firefox version. In the mean time, please carry out a manual update of your toolbar installation. To manually upgrade: Select Tools > Add-ons When the Add-ons window opens, click to highlight your toolbar, then click the Find Updates button. We have added the fabulous Read it Later service to your Streaming Internet Radio toolbar. Do you always seem to have little time while on the web? have you seen a webpage, hoping to go back to it, only to have forgotten the URL - with Read it later, keeping track of those pages you would like to read is easy. Just click, and the page is saved for future reference. To use the Read it later service from your toolbar, you must first register for a free account. Once registered, simply click the Read it later button to save the current webpage/document/etc. It's all pretty self explanatory! RSS feeds reduced 01/17/2010
We have reduced the number of the RSS feeds available on your toolbar to help speed up load times. If we have removed a feed that you would like to retain, you can add it back to your toolbar by using our Add RSS feed form. If you would prefer to remove the RSS feeds completely from your toolbar, you can do so via the Toolbar Options menu - click the small down arrow adjacent to the toolbar home button. Scroll down the menu and select Toolbar Options. Click the Predefined Components tab, then select Hide or Delete. Sorry if this has caused any inconvenience to anyone. |
