New spell checker added 02/20/2010
We have added a new Spell Checker to the Lingo section of the Streaming Internet Radio toolbar. The reason behind this change was to remove advertising that was associated with the previous spell checking system that we had adopted. How to use When you find yourself completing a form, click the Spell check button: Lingo > Spell check A unobtrusive spell check button will appear (ABC): Enter your text onto the form as normal. When complete, click the Spell check button to check your text. Words that are spelt incorrectly will be underlined. Click the underlined word to correct the spelling. Once you have completed spell checking, or if no errors have been found, click the submit button to complete your entry. Google Buzz 02/19/2010
You may have previously read that we have produced a new Socialiser toolbar and that it has Google Buzz integrated. Now, we have updated the Buzz section of the toolbar so that more tools are included - we will add even more as they become available. If you have a Gmail account, but don't yet have Google Buzz, you can turn it on by clicking the link in your toolbar - you can also update your Google Buzz settings via the toolbar as well! How to Buzz There are two options available to you... 1) Link with a note To create a Buzz with a simple link, click the Buzz it button and a pop-up window will open. Check that the information is correct, add a note if you wish, then click the Post Item button. 2) Link with content and a note If you wish to share more than just a simple link on Google Buzz, highlight the content you wish to share with your mouse. now, click the Buzz it button on your toolbar - a pop-up window will open. Check that the information you are sharing is correct, add a note if you wish, then click the Post Item button. You can share images, video and more! Searching Google Buzz You can also search Google Buzz directly from your toolbar. To do this, click the down arrow adjacent to the Go button on your toolbar. Select: buzz gmail.com. When you have activated Google buzz search in your toolbar, simply enter your search terms and click the Go button - your Gmail account will open, along with the results of your Buzz query. We have now added our We7 search tool to the We7 Playlist menu. The tool has been described by John Taysom, the Chairman of We7.com, as: "...the text link which allows you to highlight the text of a song or a band name and then play that song in situ is a little bit like magic frankly". To use the tool via the We7 playlist menu, highlight the name of a recording artist, or song on a wepage. For example: Thank you for the music - now click the Find button. You will now be transferred to a page on We7.com with results relating to the term you highlighted. If you forget to highlight text on the page, a yellow bar may appear asking you if you would like to trust the script we are running - if you accept and click the Find button again without highlighting any text, a search window will open prompting you to enter your keywords. ADD OUR WE7 PLAYLIST MENU TO YOUR TOOLBAR If you have a Conduit powered toolbar, you can easily add our We7 playlist menu to your toolbar - just click the 2go button to get great, free music in your browser. Our free We7 playlist menu has been added by 1,333 toolbar publishers and 80,932 individuals - get yours now: FREE WE7 SEARCH BOOKMARKLET If you don't have our We7 playlist menu installed on your toolbar, you can add our search tool as a bookmarklet to your Favourites. Right click the Find on We7 link below, select Add to Favourites. You may see a security alert - don't worry, the script is completely safe. When you want to find music, highlight the recording artist name or song, on a webpage, and click the bookmarklet to search We7.com. Our free Twitter gadget is easy to use and is very secure because it doesn't use third party token authorisation. To use via your toolbar, click: Menu> SOCIAL NETWORKING > Twitter > Post to Twitter Enter your Tweet into the gadget, now click the Post to Twitter button. A message will pop-up informing you that your Tweet will be posted in a few seconds. At this point, enter your Twitter username and password - these details are shared directly with Twitter. If you are planning on using our Twitter gadget over and over, tick the box to remember your password. Once your Tweet has been posted, the form will reset. Why pay, $30 or more to download, when you can do it for free? With the Streaming Internet Radio toolbar, it is very easy to download YouTube video clips to your PC for viewing later. Video files are saved in the high quality, MP4 format. To save YouTube video clips via your toolbar click: Menu > TOOLS > WEBPAGE TOOLS > YouTube downloader You may receive a security prompt at this point - click to download the file, then repeat the above step.
