At the moment, our We7 music playlist gadget has been... Added to: 1,435+ toolbars Added by: 93,920+ users Unfortunately, due to the astounding uptake, we are no longer able to support our 'request a track feature' - it has become increasingly difficult to keep up with the number of requests received. Adding music to the toolbar isn't easy - the We7 database has to be queried to find the requested track, then the song, or album has to be 'hard coded' into the playlist menu. This can be very time consuming. We regret removing the playlist gadget, but the free time given to us, allows us to concentrate on new features. Look out for new albums next week! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR TOOLBAR USERS! Find on We7 12/27/2009
We have now added our We7 search tool to the We7 Playlist menu. The tool has been described by John Taysom, the Chairman of We7.com, as: "...the text link which allows you to highlight the text of a song or a band name and then play that song in situ is a little bit like magic frankly". To use the tool via the We7 playlist menu, highlight the name of a recording artist, or song on a wepage. For example: Thank you for the music - now click the Find button. You will now be transferred to a page on We7.com with results relating to the term you highlighted. If you forget to highlight text on the page, a yellow bar may appear asking you if you would like to trust the script we are running - if you accept and click the Find button again without highlighting any text, a search window will open prompting you to enter your keywords. ADD OUR WE7 PLAYLIST MENU TO YOUR TOOLBAR If you have a Conduit powered toolbar, you can easily add our We7 playlist menu to your toolbar - just click the 2go button to get great, free music in your browser.
