Listen to music online with ease"
Download.com
This freeware add-on makes it easy to access online media, including radio stations and news, and also has a wealth of tools for better browsing. Streaming Internet Radio Toolbar, which adds to your Internet Explorer toolbar suite, sports a simple design and allows you to easily choose which components are displayed. Like other toolbars, it has a built-in search option that will give you results from eBay, Amazon, Wikipedia, and other sites. The pull-down menus offer quick access to the latest RSS feeds and top videos from YouTube and Google. In addition to the standard privacy tools, it offers an online virus scan and firewall security test and links to free antivirus software. Some fun extras include Route Finder, Text Translation, and a YouTube or Google video downloader. You can customize the toolbar components and add shortcuts to programs like Microsoft Word and Windows tools like the registry editor...

If you love music, you will love this toolbar. The radio player is simply brilliant. Listen to the preset stations, or add your own... you can even use it to play tracks from your PC. The Dizzler gadget is out of this world - chart music at your fingertips... and then there is the MP3 search facilty - WOW! I love music, it's my life. I don't know how I have managed, up to now, without this remarkable toolbar. Get it - you won't be disappointed. Thanks S.I.R.T.

The Streaming Internet Radio Toolbar combines a lot of features together that would otherwise require lots of toolbars, and maybe even separate software. Installation is simple. This download is for the Internet Explorer version. A different version is also available for Firefox (direct link to the download file). Updates can be set to download automatically as part of installation. The usual suspects for internet radio are included on installation, including BBC radio stations and Capital. The toolbar is not just about radio with lots of dynamic bookmarks with news and stories from around the web. Other content provided by the toolbar includes hand-picked links (that you can submit as well). The web-search box uses Google but the actual page used is from Conduit. The privacy policy states that there is no gathering of browsing habits and no advertising.
